The piece is inspired by a small but familiar moment in everyday life in Taiwan—those quiet seconds in an elevator when you fix your hair, adjust your expression, or casually take a selfie.

In a place as compact and busy as Taiwan, elevators are part of almost every journey. They are the in-between spaces you pass through on the way from one place to another. You are not quite leaving, and not yet arriving, just pausing for a moment in between.

After living in the United States for a long time, I started to notice how much I missed these ordinary scenes. They seem small and unimportant, but they carry a lot of human warmth and familiarity.

Each print is finished with a protective archival coating and hand-signed by the artist.
